Student Registration

All registrations are only being accepted ONLINE. Please visit the Black Gold website for the most recent information regarding Kindergarten and EAL Junior Kindergarten.
A few general reminders for registration:
- Registration is available ONLINE ONLY (no paper copies available)
- We have a parent computer available to those parents without a smartphone or home computer
- Birth certificates/citizenship documentation are required
- Registrations submitted with all required documents will be processed first.
Kindergarten 2025-2026 Registration
- Kindergarten registration for the 2025/26 school year is now open. Children born in 2020 are eligible for Kindergarten in the fall.
Kindergarten registration opens on January 6, 2025, for the 2025-2026 school year.
Children may begin Kindergarten in a school within the Black Gold School Division in September if they are at least 4 years 8 months old as of August 31 of the respective school year.
We encourage families to register early. Please note that programs and class preferences are subject to change based on enrollment, space and program viability.

EAL Junior Kindergarten 2025-2026 Registration
SAVE THE DATE | EAL Junior Kindergarten intake opens February 1, 2025
The EAL Junior Kindergarten program is a social, play-based, targeted learning program for children whose main language at home is not English. The program allows your child to grow, interact, imagine, experiment, and explore while enhancing their English language skills.
The Junior Kindergarten program is a half-day program, four days a week, led by a certified teacher and an education assistant. The school has a dedicated classroom for the program, designed to meet the students’ unique needs.
To be accepted into the program, children must be three years and eight months (3 years 8 months) of age on August 31st of the respective school year. Consider having an intake screening and finding out if your child is eligible for our *free Junior Kindergarten with us.
*Please note: To be eligible for Junior Kindergarten, your child can only have EAL as a need. If our team identifies your child presents with a developmental delay through intake or in class, they will need to transition to our Early Intervention Pre-Kindergarten sites.
